We were back here a short while ago. Children's play area seems to have been redesigned. Food and staff great as always!
MoreIt was on my list for a year to be there with kids and it was so far the best breakfast place in Munich to go with kids
MoreThe food is ok but the toys need updating and the staff should be friendlier to their customers. I liked it better with the old staff.
MoreThis cake is so delicious! It made of egg wine and nut, so special tasty! I like the ambience and location of this cafe, the waiters there are so nice! I can only recommend it!?
MoreToday I went to the café with children and my girlfriend. We liked it very much,! In the café there are two play areas and a cozy sofa with a bookcase next to it, where you can read something to children or, in my case, breastfeed in peace. For breakfast we got freshly baked wholemeal bread, simply delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating! We'd love to come back!
MoreVery nice and great for brunch with all you can eat buffet. For families with their own play area for the children. Sometimes a bit tight
MoreThe cafe is a real dream for families! The play area is always a lot of fun for the children! Even the stairs down to the basement are secured with bars. However, I have to make some criticism or suggestions for improvement. Half an hour ago I drove for half an hour to Munich for coffee and stood in front of the locked door. According to Google and the website, the cafe would have been open. On site, however, there was a note on the door with "company holidays". So spent an hour in the car with the kids for free. Last Saturday we made a reservation for four people at 9.30 a.m. A second family arrived in the cafe. The remaining tables were free or only signposted with reserved signs. Unfortunately, we only got the table for 2 directly in front of the play area. To be honest much too small for 4 people! We sat very squeezed there even though there would have been plenty of space in the café. I didn't really get it. here the waitresses should make sure that everyone has enough space available. The service can also be greatly improved!
MoreHmm well. It was so-so, I have to admit. It wasn't unfriendly, but we didn't feel welcome either. Food wasn't bad, but it wasn't remembered either. The children's motto is more half-hearted than consistent. Is that a two star rating or a three? No idea. If I live around the corner, I can go there, but I wouldn't have to take a trip to get there.
MoreVery nice for children, the drinks were okay at best and the service was unfortunately very bad. We didn't feel welcome.
MoreQuite good cafe. The food is delicious and what is important, parents can eat quietly while the children play in the children's corner.
MoreBecause there are also many children here. Child-friendly.
'Glücksmarie' - just perfect. Thank you for a nice mother-child date.
A very great and sweet idea that is actually well implemented is unfortunately nullified by the poor service with unfriendly or unpleasant behavior by the waitress.
MoreWe were here for the first time today. The play areas are ok, but moderately clean. The overall cleanliness is average. The breakfast was unfortunately a letdown. The baked goods are finished products and could not be eaten due to the hardness (possibly from the previous day). The muesli is well sweetened. After all, the other guests were friendly and our daughter was able to play. We would come for a coffee, but not for dining.
MoreWhen we ate there in the evening it was great. Super nice and attentive waitress. Now we have decided to celebrate my daughter's birthday party there: a disaster. Despite the reservation, the table was not set, service was very slow and sometimes unfriendly. Dirty looks from the owner and a waitress, and after an hour asked to leave the table because it was reserved. So not very organized! Other birthdays were celebrated on the day and I and my guests noticed the difference immediately, how they were served well and quickly. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm black and it could be because of it. By the way, the food is super delicious!
MoreMany breakfast options and long times for the breakfast menu. Payment only possible in cash or by EC card
MoreCozy café with a good menu. I can definitely recommend the creamed spinach. My little one was able to deal with the toy for almost 3 hours!
MoreIf your a mother for little kids it's perfect
Really good for children, but parents suffer from poor service. You have to be proactive to get more drinks. Price-performance is just that
MoreNot impressed with the service of the waitress. The shredded parmesan cheese that came with my kid’s pasta had mold in it. I showed it to the waitress and she gave me a new one. That’s fine. But I bit into something hard and found a screw in this chocolate tart. I told her and she simply said they don’t make the cakes here but buys them. No smile, no apology, no remorse. I hope she escalated the issue to the maker of cakes though. Just be careful, you might not know what else you bite into. The place might be kids friendly but the food, I don’t think so. I’m thankful my kids didn’t take that bite.
MoreThis place is nicely done with two corners with kids toys and play areas and a little books section. It's a good place if you want to hang out with your friends or family and let your kid play in the play area. You can always watch the kids playing. It is crowded however , so you might have to wait . Always good to call and check if they are free. This place is open on Sundays too which is an added advantage.
MoreThe kitchen closes 1 hour before 6 p.m. So far that's okay too! We entered the restaurant 15 minutes before the official kitchen closes. We hadn't even taken a seat, so we were asked without a greeting and in a sharp tone whether we wanted to eat something now ?! If so, then we have to order now because the cook wants to finish work. The food came very quickly and was delicious (that's why there are two stars), the prices are “appropriate” for Munich standards, but the tables and the floor are very dirty and the “toys” are outdated. We were not quite finished with the food, so the plates were taken from us at 6:30 p.m. and you had the feeling that you should please go now. I also observed this at other tables. Besides, I never saw the waitress smile. There was absolutely no response to nice gestures or comments on our part. When I finally gave a small tip, the mood was on the ground. Too bad we will definitely not be back!
MoreNice place to relax n have food wit kids. My daughter loved thz place. The separate play area attracts the kid.
MoreIf you have kids you have to go there. It is clean, beautiful decorated, and has two Spielecke or playgrounds where your kids can have a nice time playing with the toys. You can have a coffee and a piece of cake, or even have lunch or dinner. I recommend it!!
MoreNice cafe, especially highly recommended if you have children. Children can play undisturbed and it does not bother when they are louder or sitting in the middle of the restaurant on the floor. Best book. Especially at the weekend it is difficult to get a table. Good food and a lot of choice. Also suitable for children.
MoreNot clean, the space for the kids to play is really little. It was not tasty and we had to wait a long time to be served and then until the food came ... Saying are child friendly, but does not even have a place where you can wrap the child as a man.
MoreVery tasty and ideal for children. There are two play areas. A small and a big one. Our little 10 months has been super busy and we could eat quietly for the first time in a café. Price is a bit high and it could be cleaner. But you can not have everything.
MoreNice location, great for kids
Great Idea! Perfect for families with small children. 2 playing zones, coffee wine for adults and a lot of goodies. For sure We'll come back.
MoreUsed to be very good but losing its charm the last few times we were there. Still good to go with kids.
MoreNice place good cappu
Apparently our waitress either did no like her job or did not like me. I waited one hour for her to come back to our table and order. I wasn't hungry anymore. I left without ordering. Thank you waitress.
MoreFab, excellent place to take small children
Top !
I get the idea of the concept, which is for families with kids. But I was there for a date, which I can really recommend, because the topics about kids and family are on the table to talk about. I like the cozy atmosphere with kids noises around. We had tea, which was good but not extraordinary. Their cakes are awsome though.
MoreVery tasty brunch food, the employees were nice and the kaffe was delicious.
Nice place for parents with children could be little bit cleaner. Especially children toys should be washed.
MoreInteresting place to take a meal, the staff is really nice and if you have children they will definitely like it.
MoreThe play area is poor but ok, drinks and food was alright. The worst changing table I’ve seen in my life! All over with very old stains from months of not being cleaned. This has to be replaced! Despite that it’s just a folding changing table and that it is placed so close to the door that you have to be afraid if somebody else wants to enter the toilet. Also, it’s 2018! Where’s the changing table in the men’s room? Update your wracked down furniture, paint your walls and fix the toilets and I’ll come back but before that keep away from this place.
MoreIt is a coffee shop for mothers with kids and babies
Absolutely perfect place for families. Great food.
I went woth my friend and her kid, its a Really cool place to attend with kids since they will have an open-full of toys-place. We could have some small talks and also control the kid. They have some food with also few vegetatian options coffee and delicious cake :) Its totally a Cafe to go with your kids or for a Mama&kid meet up.
MoreDelicious brunch, helpfull staff, although table service was a bit slow. Perfect with small kids.
MoreReally really expensive and the coffee is not even good. It is the typical American one, more water than coffee ?.
MoreGreat place for Parents with Kids. It has a small Spielplatz inside and they have great food too for both Kids and parents! Both suitable for Winter and Summer?
MoreIt's not being mean but the services is poorest I ever got and the place is overcrowded at times. The thing I don't get is if you have to call a place a kids cafe, why not assign a play area for the kids. Awful! I think most folks are desperate for a place to go in winter but Nah! I would rather sit the gloom on home..
MoreGreat brunch options, two play areas for the kids. If the weather is nice, you can also sit outside.
MoreI didn't bring kids, but everyone else here did and it is extremely kid-friendly. The menu is in German, but both servers we had spoke some English. If you're an American in Munich and missing a hearty American breakfast, try the Morning Manhattan. They have a very nice outdoor seating area on a small plaza, the inside seemed to be even more geared towards children so I'd recommend outside if you're dining with adults. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you could easily spend a few hours here.
MoreGreat place for kids, good pasta and good to have coffee. There are 2 areas where kids can play so gives you free time to talk and enjoy your coffee without the need to take care of the kids the whole time. We go there frequently, nice place.
MoreRelaxed and down to earth place with space for kids to run and play.
Thank you for being with us!
We will call you back!
